IA02.4   ANIMAL RIGS: BIRD RIG CONTROLS

BACK TO HOME PAGE BACK TO TIGER FACIALS
The TWEETY BIRD
This is a rig that I did recently for a little bird character.   It didn't need any Inverse Kinematics on the legs because the bird didn't need to land and legs were normally folded up under the body.   A simple rig of this sort might take around one to two days to do.   Have a play with it.   Not all the controls I built are implemented in this demonstration of course, but it gives an idea of how much fun rigging is.   These "pick wire" rigs are very popular with animators because they are quick and easy to use.
If the graphic is a little sticky, just wait a few moments for the server to down load the pictures it needs for this demo.
